May soap sweeps are off to a roaring start as half of Port Charles closes in on Henrik, Valentin has performed a kidnapping coup, Sam decided to divorce Drew, and Carly still doesn’t have a clue. So, what can we expect from the rest of the month on General Hospital (GH).

Here are the 5 biggest plots to watch for 2018 May sweeps.

Sam/Jason/Drew
Sam (Kelly Monaco) seems to realize she may not need a man at all–or at least that she doesn’t have to make a decision right away.

And, she doesn’t have to go to Switzerland to live her life freely. However, that doesn’t mean her feelings for both Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew (Billy Miller) have gone away, so this triangle is not over yet.

Drew will get used to living life without Sam this month and decide maybe those missing memories should become priority. With Andre (Anthony Montgomery) helping him, May brings us closer to Drew (and us) learning who he really is, but will we get there, too?

The Nurses’ Ball
The Nurses’ Ball brings the whole cast together one glamorous song and dance tonight.

Of course, Lucy will perform hosting duties and Robin will make a return, but storylines will also come to a head as romance prevails–and mystery men may not be a mystery anymore.

We know Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) has Robert (Tristan Rogers) stashed somewhere, but you can’t keep a good WSB agent down. Robert makes a triumphant return to Port Charles with some stunning information.

Bundles Of Babies
It’s baby time in Port Charles as both Maxie’s baby’s birth, Nelle’s baby’s birth, and Lucas and Brad’s adoptive baby’s birth approaches.

But, these pregnant women are pretty busy. Nelle (Chloe Lanier) continues to gaslight Carly (Laura Wright), but she may not know what and who she’s up against.

And Maxie (Kirsten Storms) has to deal with learning her “friend” Peter (Wes Ramsey) isn’t who he seemed to be.

Mixed Up Lives
The tangled love lives of Anna (Finola Hughes), Finn (Michael Easton), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Julian (William deVry), and Kim (Tamara Braun) come to a head with one solid couple emerging from these five characters.
