General Hospital fans know that Liesl *thinks* she’s been in love before. She certainly was in… something… with Faison (Anders Hove). Obsession. Dysfunction. Denial.
She bore him two children, the girl, Britt (Kelly Thibaud) — whom she told him about, and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) — the son Fiason always craved, but whom she gave to her sister, Madeline (Donna Mills) to raise. (Yeah, we’re still scratching our heads over that one, too.)
But Faison kept yearning for Anna (Finola Hughes), the woman we all thought he could never have — except then it turned out that he did. (Or did he have Alex.) It’s how they maybe got Peter (Wes Ramsey), the son Faison did have, but didn’t love. (Again, more head-scratching.)
Since she’s come to Port Charles, Liesl (Kathleen Gatti) has turned down her old flame, Victor (Taao Penghlis), and developed girlish crushes on Franco (Roger Howarth) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher). But does she deserve to find real, true love? What over 5000 fans had to say:
Love Is All Around
Of course, she does, 74% of you are willing to let bygones be bygones. Sure, she kidnapped Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and Rocco — back when he was still called Ben. Sure, she’s lead to the death of dozens, and she was a crappy mother to the daughter she kept — and tormented. But… but… love!
If Sonny (Maurice Benard) can renew his vows to Carly (Laura Wright), and Jason (Steve Burton) reunite with Sam (Kelly Monaco), and siblings Julian (William deVry) and Ava (Maura West) still hold out hope for a happy ending with various significant others, why shouldn’t Liesl get another crack at it?
Unforgivable
Another 26% can’t forgive or forget. Liesl is bad. All she deserves is to be mocked for thinking anyone could ever fall in love with someone like her. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
