The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, September 2, 2019, features a walk down memory lane for Jack and Traci. Have your tissues ready as we watch Jack replay one of the most heartbreaking days of his childhood.
The Abbott family is in for a day of emotional highs and lows in the coming episode. Billy’s (Jason Thompson) mental break has led him down a dark path ending in him being kidnapped (or saved, as Chloe would call it).
However, to keep him in the boathouse she and Kevin had to excuse his absence. So, they send a text claiming he went back to rehab.
The message is set to hit Traci (Beth Maitland) and Jack (Peter Bergman) like a ton of bricks. They did not see this coming. Oh sure, they knew Billy was having a hard time since Adam’s return but nothing like this. Expect them to blame themselves for missing all the signs.
Their conversation leads them down an interesting road. They talk about Billy’s children missing him and how they know how the kids feel. But, at least Katie and Johnny will know their dad is coming home. Dina (Marla Adams) left with no intention of ever coming back.

The scenes show Dina hitting a wall in her married life. Sure, she had it all. She lived in a sprawling mansion, had more money than she could count, and three beautiful children, but it was not enough. Something was missing.
Spoilers reveal Jack recalls his father struggling to find a way to make Dina happy. John would have given Dina anything, as long as it was in GC.
It was not enough. Dina had the itch to open her own company and travel the world. And she did, but sadly, she did it alone. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
