Liar, Liar: Can Michael Forgive Sasha on General Hospital?

General Hospital viewers have known for months that Sasha isn’t really Nina’s long-lost daughter. She’s an impostor Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) hired to make Nina (Michelle Stafford) love him more. But Michael (Chad Duell), the guy Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) has been sleeping with, is as much in the dark as Nina.

Still, the truth has a way of coming out in Port Charles — even if it sometimes takes forever…cough…Baby Wiley/Jonah…cough. Nina will eventually find out. And Michael will eventually find out. Will he be able to forgive her? What almost 14,000 viewers think will happen:

No, 64% of you insist, Michael will absolutely not forgive her! First of all, he has a complicated history of being lied to about one’s parentage.

Sure, Michael eventually forgave Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) for lying to him about AJ… and for killing him, too. But that’s Sonny and Carly. They’re special. Nobody else deserves that level of consideration.

Plus, Michael went to hell and back with that lying liar who lies Nelle (Chloe Lanier). He’s in no mood to go through something like that again, and he can’t love Sasha if he can’t trust her. The Corinthos family has very high standards in that regard, you know.

Michael is a sap, 36% of you counter, he’s forgiven Sonny, he’s forgiven Carly, he’s forgiven Kiki (Hayley Erin), he’ll likely forgive Nelle sooner rather than later, and he’ll probably forgive Sasha, too, after she turns those big beautiful eyes on him and turns on the waterworks.

Besides, let’s get real: Sasha hasn’t done anything close to what Nelle has. Her lies weren’t directed at Michael. She didn’t set out to con him. In fact, her situation with Nina and Valentin is none of Michael’s business. He’ll forgive her…because he ultimately isn’t affected by her lies.
