Kristen Alderson Celebrates An Amazing Milestone

While she isn’t on a soap at the moment, Kristen Alderson will always have a special place in soap viewers’ hearts because we watched her grow up before our eyes as Starr on One Life to Live and General Hospital and as the first Kiki Jerome — but now she has something even more special to celebrate.

That’s because she was born on May 29, 1991, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania which means that she is turning 28 years old today! She was recently down in Florida on Marco Island with her brother Eddie, who played Matthew Buchanan on OLTL, to help raise money for kids with autism, showing what a kind heart she has.

Alderson isn’t just a wonderful young actress from the soaps — she’s also a Broadway star and fantastic singer — which fans of OLTL would already know since she performed Jailbait on an episode of the show. But theatergoers would know it because she played Molly in the show Annie before she was even on the soap.

And now she’s back treading the boards and singing in the off-Broadway hit, The Marvelous Wonderettes, in the role as Cindy for a few more appearances. So if you are in New York City, you still have three Sundays to catch her in this show.
