Of course, we’re not saying that we want to see alcoholics fall off the wagon on Days of Our Lives or any place else, but we can’t help but notice that Maggie is getting into some big trouble — and we at Soap Hub are definitely here for it.
Poor Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) has been everyone’s rock for their own substance abuse issues, and lately, she just seems to wag her finger at husband Victor (John Aniston) while he gets to have all the fun. Well, all of that has changed now that Maggie has fallen off the wagon.
Tuesday’s episode had our mouths on the ground as she boldly lied to Sonny (Freddie Smith) about the bottle of booze she was holding.
The next scene that we saw Brady (Eric Martsolf) in, we had to look for the tire tracks on his suit because Maggie had totally thrown him under the bus — telling Sonny that Brady was drinking again.
Now normally, that could have been a full day for our dear Maggie but oh no — she wasn’t done. She ordered herself a car (thankfully not driving like Eric had when he killed her son Daniel) and went straight to Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) to confront her about her play for Victor.

Kate was oddly compassionate, and it was a beautiful change of pace for these two longtime rivals. Kate wisely realized that Maggie was drunk and her real issue was having been blamed by Nicole (Arianne Zucker) for Holly’s death. She told Maggie she needed to make peace with her and sent her on her way.
And even though Soap Hub saw it coming, it was still hilarious to watch as Maggie caught Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) without her Nicole mask, but because she was drunk, you know that no one will believe her.
Well played, DAYS — we get to have the secret out without anyone really believing poor Maggie — and it was so much fun watching Rogers back in action. As much as it disturbs us to say, here’s hoping that Maggie gets to continue wreaking a little havoc before she finds her way back to a meeting.
