According to his Instagram account, Ingo Rademacher has moved his family back to Los Angeles from Hawaii.
The actor moved to Hawaii with his wife Ehiku after leaving General Hospital in 2013. Since then, he’s brought Jax back for frequent visits, often checking on his daughter (with Carly), Josslyn (Eden McCoy).
The last visit ended when Jax had to leave for Australia to take care of his sick mother, Lady Jane. The actress who played his mother, Barbara Tarbuck, passed away at the end of last year.
There could be any number of reasons why Rademacher has moved his wife and kids, Peanut and Pohaku, back to Los Angeles, but a new contract on General Hospital would be a great reason. There is still plenty of story left for Jax in Port Charles.
After all, Carly (Laura Wright) isn’t completely back with Sonny (Maurice Benard). She still has a lot of nagging doubts about Sonny’s lifestyle being too dangerous for her kids. If Jax returned, surely he would echo these sentiments and want his daughter to be in a safe environment.
Add to that, the mystery surrounding Nelle is bound to come to light shortly and the part Jax plays in it has been debated since her character first stepped foot in Port Charles claiming to be the kidney donor for Josslyn. Having the actor back full time could prove interesting indeed.
