GH’s Cameron Mathison Reunites With 90210’s Jennie Garth In New Film

For fans who enjoyed the love connection between daytime star Cameron Mathison and 90210’s Jennie Garth when the two teamed up for the 2013 ABC Family movie, Holidaze, Christmas has come early.

Cameron Mathison, who recently joined General Hospital as the new Drew Cain, revealed on his Instagram story that he and Jennie Garth are reteaming for a new holiday film for Hallmark.

“Hey everybody. Up in Vancouver about to shoot another Christmas movie with the amazing Jennie Garth,” the actor wrote. “I’m super excited about it. This is a little bit of a calm before the storm. As we start shooting it gets pretty intense. I think I’m shooting 15 days worth of work in 12 days to make it back in time for ‘General Hospital.’ So lots of stuff going on. I’ll keep you updated.”

Turning to Garth’s social media, the former Kelly Taylor confirmed that she too was in Vancouver ready for work on a movie, though she didn’t provide many details other than the first day started pretty early.

“First day on our new movieeeee,” Jennie Garth posted to Instagram, adding a behind-the-scenes look at her getting ready in the morning. “And yeah… 4:30 AM 🙀 Thank god for my hair & make-up team!”

While she didn’t mention Mathison, he did send some heart emojis for one of her posts last week and Cameron Mathison also included a link to the video she made on his own story.

Once filming is complete, Mathison will head to the GH set and bring new life into Drew, who has been held against his will in a prison somewhere, courtesy of Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Thankfully, his ex, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), BFF Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are all working to find and return him to Port Charles.

Cameron Mathison previously portrayed Ryan Lavery on All My Children for 14 years starting in 1997 and fans have been clamoring for him to return to daytime ever since!
