The days of actors having to wait for snail mail letters to learn viewer reactions are long gone. Now, actors like Sofia Mattsson know immediately what fan response is to storylines and she’s responding to viewers who’ve weighed in on the death of Sasha and Brando’s baby boy, Liam.
Sofia Mattsson Sends A Special Message to GH Fans
“I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for all your comments about little Liam’s storyline on GH,” Sofia Mattsson tweeted. “I loved the challenge of acting out this beautifully written and heartbreaking story. I’m reminded to hug everyone I love extra hard this holiday season and never take a day for granted.”
Recently, Sofia Mattsson’s co-star, Johnny Wactor (Brando), tweeted out some thoughts on the baby Liam storyline in an effort to comfort and guide viewers who were deeply touched by the passing of Brando and Sasha’s infant son.
Mattsson and Wactor Made Us Cry
The two actors have received heaps of praise from GH fans on social media. Soap Hub named the two actors as Performers of the Week for GH when baby Liam first took ill. Mattsson and Wactor continued to deliver throughout the storyline as did all their co-stars who played supporting roles in the storyline.
“Beautiful episode yesterday. Had me in tears. Really touching work @WactorTractor and @SofiaMattsson1 #gh,” tweeted Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne). In response, Sofia Mattsson wrote, “Thank you @kellythiebaud Loved getting to work with you during this storyline!”
Numerous fans weighed in on Mattsson’s tweet, thanking her for her heart-wrenching performance. “You took those beautifully written scenes and made them soar,” posted @VMcCoy69. “It was difficult to watch, so raw was your performance. You let us see the pain and anguish and that helps us all learn something about life.”
