GH spoilers reveal Elizabeth Webber trying to get to the bottom of what started her odd behavior after taking sleeping pills regularly for months. As Laura Collins suggested, there has to be more to this than just grief.
GH Spoilers: It All Goes Back To Elizabeth’s Parents
During this entire mess of Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) believing she had a stalker and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) trying to rule her life in the name of protecting her, people have forgotten about the fact that somehow Elizabeth’s long-missing parents, Caroline and Jeff Webber, were brought into the mix.
First, her boys were going through old photos and came across a snap of their grandparents. In addition, Jake Webber (Hudson West) confessed he was communicating with them when he was sneaking time on a library computer.

However, it’s that photo that perhaps started it all for Liz. When nobody was looking, she took it and angrily ripped it up after declaring she had no desire to talk about her parents. Clearly, there is something about her relationship with them that Liz has kept a secret all these years. After all, we never knew what incident really sent her to Port Charles to live with Grandma Audrey Hardy as a teen and we still do not know why in 25 years, Liz had not visited her parents and they have not visited her.

GH Spoilers: What Really Happened To Elizabeth Webber?
Soon after Liz saw that photo and tore it up, the odd things began happening around her. As Laura (Genie Francis) said, she had those pills in her system for quite a while before the first incident with the wedding ring, so maybe Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) death didn’t cause her dissociative state after all.
Maybe it was a memory triggered by seeing her parents’ photo. That can bring in a whole new can of worms to open that may finally reveal why Elizabeth has spent all these years in a world where her parents seemingly do not exist.
