GH Spoilers Recap for Jan. 12: Alexis Sets Herself and Tracy Free

GH Spoilers Recap Highlights

Though she’s not actually in a position to be making demands, Tracy (Jane Elliot) made it painfully clear to all and sundry that she isn’t about to entertain any sort of plea deal that requires her to take any responsibility whatsoever in regard to actions undertaken previously.

And all that was fine with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), Tracy’s would-be lawyer. He really didn’t want to see that rude so-and-so freed in the first place. Truth be told, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) probably wouldn’t have minded mommy not so dearest spending another few nights in the pokey either.

Enter Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) — she who has decided to take the high road and forgo cooperating with the prosecution. This means that Tracy is now free as a bird, albeit ungrateful as usual.

General Hospital Recap: Try (Not So) Hard

For the first time, in a long time, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) is truly contrite. And she truly, honest to goodness wants to make things right with Austin (Roger Howarth)…but he’s not having any of it. Her apologies, he dismissed. Her offer to intercede on his behalf where the Quartermaines are concerned, he turned down. And insult her to her face, he did. Brook Lynn deserved it all — and more.

And what should Brook Lynn do when all her faults are laid out in front of her? Double down on being an entitled, selfish brat…inadvertently proving Austin’s point. Her little zinger directed at an eavesdropping Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) might prove to be her ultimate downfall.

GH Spoilers Recap: A House Divided

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) just can’t come together and make their fractured marriage work…or they’re patently unwilling to try, take your pick. The duo’s solution? Carly’s moving out of the shared home, and Sonny’s eschewing taking his bipolar medication…but that’s always been the perfect solution.
