The GH spoilers recap for Monday, December 20, 2021, features a (supposed) change of heart, a big break for Scott Baldwin, romantic tension in the air, and more.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Having apparently taken his cue from Llanview’s Mitch Laurence, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is now all about the Lord…ask a One Life to Live fan how that worked out for Mitchy. Heck, even Laura Collins (Genie Francis), who loves a good redemption story, couldn’t stomach what her half-brother was swearing.
But Cyrus did pique Laura’s interest with his insistence that it was not he, but rather an unknown entity, who ordered the hit on her and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) – and he did seem so sincere.
Cut to Port Charles, where despicable Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was patting himself on the back for drawing Laura out with that bungled kill job. However, it begs the question that if his intent was to get Laura home, what would he have done if the hitwoman succeeded? Did he purposefully hire a bad one?
General Hospital Recap: Out and About
Does Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) still love Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)? Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) – and the viewing public – want to know. Nina says no. Her eyes tell an altogether different story.

And speaking of stories…Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has got a doozy to tell Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) – Nina and Sonny were an item in Nixon Falls. Now, that’s good news for Nina’s case, but only if Scott can figure out how to get testimony about said relationship entered on the record.
That’s going to be tough, considering the fact(s) that Nina doesn’t want to admit the truth, Liesl doesn’t want to publicly out her niece’s secret, and Scott is pretty certain that Sonny would lie through his teeth about the whole mess.

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has been a big ole hypocrite as of late, and she’s really, really sorry about that. Apparently, it comes with the territory of being involved with a Corinthos. Can Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) ever forgive her?
General Hospital Recap: High Life
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) doesn’t want to live on his dad’s charity, but he wouldn’t mind living on his uncle Victor’s. Besides, Victor wants to help Spencer – and he certainly doesn’t want anything in return, nor does he have a super evil agenda.
