The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 10, 2022, features Drew Cain flexing some muscle to get ELQ back from Valentin Cassadine. Yes, the ELQ war is not over, but is it ever?
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
While Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) didn’t want to hear anything Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) said at first and said absolutely not to handing back ELQ, when Drew mentioned Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), Valentin’s ears perked up.

Drew told him that in exchange for ELQ, he would help him get Victor out of his hair and couldn’t believe that Valentin was calling the man his father now. Drew also tried to remind Valentin how he felt about Victor when they were locked up together in Crete.
After Valentin insinuated that he would consider Drew’s offer, he had a warning for the man. Be careful of Victor at all costs because he will target his family to get you to do his bidding.
Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) finally managed to convince Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to help her find out what’s been going on with Valentin. Marty really didn’t want to have anything to do with this, but Anna came armed with evidence that he swindled his ex-wives out of money.
General Hospital Recap: Cody’s Past, Spinelli’s Dilemma
Speaking of being swindled out of money, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) told Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) that he was swindled out of Dominque Stanton’s (Shell Danielson) money because he happens to be her son. Scott was in shock, as were Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Cody was mad that Serena Baldwin (Carly Shroeder) got all the money and used it for environmental causes.

He also explained that Dominique gave him away to live with the servant family on her estate called Serenity before Serena was ever born. Scott did not seem to care about his sob story and had Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) arrest his childhood friend for assault.
At the nail salon, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was thrilled with his first pedicure, but not thrilled when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) questioned him about his love for Britt. He faked feelings for her as Cody told him to, and Maxie wasn’t sure she was buying what he was selling. Spinelli’s usual code language made it clear he really has feelings for Maxie.
GH Spoilers Recap: Spencer Has A Million Problems
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) planned a date for the next night but then parted ways because he had something important to do and that something involved visiting his nephew, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Sonny tried to give Spencer advice on how to behave in Pentonville so he would stay out of trouble but was intrigued when he learned Spencer had an accomplice for his Spring Ridge breakout.
That accomplice, Victor, met with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) at the Metro Court Gardens. The men wanted Alexis to use The Invader to make the public sympathetic towards Spencer. Alexis explained it wouldn’t be a good look for a young white man to not pay for a crime he did commit while a young black woman went to jail for a crime she didn’t commit.
Finally, Nina and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) had drinks at the Metro Court bar, and Nina was happy as a clam while Nina lamented her sad love life.
