Who’s joining or exiting General Hospital? Are any of your favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama this week or in the not-too-far-off future? Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.

The Week Of February 12, 2024

The resurrection of Jason Morgan is inching closer. Steve Burton began taping scenes as his popular GH alter ego last week and is set to make his on-air return to the soap on March 4. The character last aired on the ABC soap in 2021, when he appeared to die in a tunnel explosion on Cassadine Island.  Burton first appeared on GH in 1991. 

There’s lots of speculation on what Jason will do once he is back — and who he will be paired with. Will he pick things up where he left off with Carly (Laura Wright) or will he be drawn back to Sam (Kelly Monaco) or Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst)?

Jacqueline Grace Lopez is back as Blaze on Tuesday, February 13. Look for Molly (Kristen Vaganos) to learn that the singer and her sister Kristina (Kate Mansi) are a couple. What will her reaction be and will Molly wonder if this was really the right time for Kristina to be pregnant?
