Who’s that mystery man that’s been watching Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brooke Kerr) and paid a visit to TJ (Tajh Bellow) at the hospital? Robert Gossett has been cast in the yet-to-be-disclosed role.
The actor has a long list of primetime credits including Lt. Hudson on Silk Stalking, Russell Taylor on The Closer, and Major Crimes. Plus, Gossett is no stranger to daytime. He previously portrayed Officer Ed Jenkins on Santa Barbara, shady lawyer Woody Stumper on Passions, and Dan Szymborski on The Young and the Restless.
The long-missing Charlotte Cassadine finally resurfaces this week. Actress Scarlett Fernandez made her last appearance as Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) daughter back in March.

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) many decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please its viewers.
