Who’s coming and who’s going from General Hospital (GH)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?

Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.

The week of July 16, 2018

Eden McCoy will be getting more airtime as Josslyn Jacks. The teenage actress, who has been playing Carly (Laura Wright) and Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) daughter since 2015, has been upped to contract status.

Casey Biggs debuts as Dr. Lasaris, the latest physician to surface at Ferncliff mental hospital.

Biggs, who’s appeared on the primetime series Legacy (as John Turner) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (as Damar and Dr. Wykoff), also has a soap past. Back in 1989, he played Fenno Moore on Ryan’s Hope.

Patrick J. Gibbons finished his stint as Wyatt, the scout who found Peter/Henrich (Wes Ramsey) hostage in a cabin.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
