Josh Coxx is back on the Port Charles scene as Brendon Byrne, the late Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) brother. He previously appeared on the soap back in 2020 and looks to be back for a cryptic plot turn involving Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel).
Enzo De Angelis is back as Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) son, Aiden. He’ll share scenes with Genie Francis’ Laura Collins on Thursday, April 14.
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) many decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please its viewers.
