GH Alum Emme Rylan Reveals She Has A New Addition To Her Family

General Hospital’s Emme Rylan hasn’t been seen in Port Charles for a bit, as Lulu is away in a New York healthcare facility trying to wake from her coma after being involved in the deadly Floating Rib bombing ignited by Cyrus Renault (though carried out by Julian Jerome).

Meet Emme Rylan’s New Family Member

The actress has kept fans up to date about her life away from the show on social media and recently took to Instagram to talk about a new addition to her family. “Happy birthday my sweet 12 year old boy,” she wrote, adding a video of son Jackson opening a big, wrapped gift, that had a new puppy inside! “I couldn’t be more proud of this hard working sweetheart! We love you Jackson!!”

One look at the boy’s reaction and you can tell he was clearly surprised and even mentioned in the video how his mom had originally said no to getting a new pet to throw him off. “You are literally the most amazing thing,” her son exclaimed, quickly professing his love for his new pug.

Rylan’s other kids, son Levi and daughter Dakota, were also on hand for the unwrapping and were similarly thrilled to see the dog inside the box. When talk started about what to name the young pug, Dakota adorably threw out the name “Cake,” apparently hinting at another part of the birthday celebration.

And judging from Emme Rylan’s follow-up post, the dog was still looking for a name as she asked her fans for ideas. Some of her followers offered suggestions such as Doug the Pug, Fletcher, Bentley, Jasper, and Rocco (which should be a familiar name to GH fans as the son of Lulu).

Many fans are looking forward to the day when Lulu wakes up and can tell her ex-hubby Dante that she is still in love with him and was about to end things with Dustin before he was killed. And now that Dante and Sam are developing feelings for one another, wouldn’t it be the perfect time for Lulu to wake and get in the middle? Will that happen? Stay tuned.
