It’s been several years since the biological son of both Sonny Corinthos and Carly Corinthos perished in a car bombing on General Hospital, but his portrayer, Bryan Craig, has been keeping busy, and now comes word that he’ll be seen regularly in primetime.
Bryan Craig In Good Trouble
Deadline revealed the news that Craig will be playing “Joaquin, an independent investigative journalist with a mysterious background” on the fourth season of the show Good Trouble. It will premiere on Freeform on Wednesday, March 9 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT.
The show follows the lives of Callie and Mariana Foster (from their previous show, The Fosters), who move to Los Angeles and begin their lives as young adults. Good Trouble has another daytime connection as it was co-created by Joanna Johnson, who was part of the original cast of The Bold and the Beautiful where she played Caroline Spencer and later her twin, Karen Spencer.
While this is exciting news for GH fans who have missed seeing Bryan Craig regularly since his other primetime series Grand Hotel left the airwaves in 2019, it is also a blow because it means Morgan Corinthos won’t be found alive and well anytime soon — if it’s to be played once again by Craig, that is.
Then again, his Port Charles family seems to have enough drama going on in their lives without his return being added to the mix. After all, Carly (Laura Wright) just walked in on Sonny (Maurice Benard) in bed with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so that’s going to cause enough explosions for the time being.
