There are few brother-sister pairs as interesting as Julian and Ava Jerome on General Hospital. They are always there for one another, covering for the other’s crimes and even committing crimes together, but that is soon coming to an end as William deVry has confirmed his exit from the soap.
General Hospital ‘Jiblings’
Actress Maura West chimed in with many other stars to say goodbye to her on-screen brother and drVry returned the love.
“TV brother – 7 years. Honorary brother – Forever I love you, William. @WilliamdeVry1 #jiblings,” was enough for West to tweet to get the point across.
deVry then responded with: “Xo. My smokey hot sister from another mother. Your kindness, sisterly love won’t be forgotten.”
While Julian and Ava didn’t grow up together, they became mighty close over the past seven years and many fans have said that deVry and West have “inappropriate chemistry” as The Jiblings, the nickname they have lovingly been called.
Ava is still covering for Julian, doing anything she can to ensure Sonny (Maurice Benard) never learns her brother knew that Wiley was Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) son, and not Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) child, adopted by Brad and Lucas. What Julian doesn’t realize is that he’s gotten himself into much more trouble by striking a deal with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Does this mean that Julian is being killed off? deVry taped his final scenes last week but gave no hints as to how his character will exit the canvas. He just told us that the moss is staying, referring to the moss in Sonny’s kitchen that seems to have become a character of its own.
Soap Hub will miss The Jiblings together, but we hope we get some great Ava and Julian scenes before it all ends. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
