Emme Rylan, who played General Hospital’s Lulu from 2013 until last December, has been on the hunt for a new home and revealed that she finally is moving into some new digs.

The actress, who also played Lizzie on Guiding Light and Abby on The Young and The Restless, took to Instagram to share some happy news.
“We. Found. A. Place. To. Live,” she posted. “The rental market here in Los Angeles is crazy. Hundreds of applicants on every listing! We have been living out of suitcases for 6 months and TOMORROW we move into our own place!”
Rylan completed the post with an image of a white door and welcome mat.
“I would like to introduce you to our front door,” she wrote. “Sure the crystal windows aren’t necessarily our style but I have never LOVED a door so much! I feel like she needs a name.” She then asked fans for suggestions, and some fun replies are already coming through!
To say fans were disappointed when General Hospital wrote out Lulu at the end of last year would be an understatement. The daughter of Luke and Laura fell into a coma and was shipped off to a long-term care facility.
Last October, the actress notified fans that she was sadly being written off of the show in a somber Instagram post.
“Some days are hard and you just need your whole family to give you a hug,” she posted along with an image of her with her love, Don Money, and the couple’s three kids. “I was told that I was being taken off contract and that the character was being put into a coma. I wasn’t informed about anything else.”
Now that Rylan’s settled back in Los Angeles, maybe it’s time GH brings her—and Lulu—back to the canvas. Of course, the actress will be a little busy fixing up her new home though.
“Inside the place needs some serious decorating help so welcome to the beginning of endless renter friendly DIY decor projects,” she wrote. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
