No one needs to see General Hospital spoilers to know that Carly is a petty person. Or to see that she always wants what someone else has. Or to see that she doesn’t like other people having things she doesn’t want them to have.

General Hospital Spoilers: A History Lesson

For instance, Carly (Laura Wright) never liked the idea of Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) having Jason (Steve Burton). She made that very clear. She also never liked the idea of Ava (Maura West) having Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) baby. So she took her, and Avery is Carly’s now! Ha ha!

Present Tense

Now, Carly doesn’t like Ava having Nikolas (Marcus Coloma). If Ava has Nikolas, that means she has access to the Cassadine money. And Carly cannot handle Ava having both a hot guy and some cool cash. Even if the whole thing is a fraud.

Carly — Her Way or The Highway

So how will Carly put a stop to Ava’s having things? By taking Ava’s things! (You know, the way she took Avery.) Of course, Carly has only one way to take things. She either throws a tantrum until it’s easier to give her what she wants than to keep resisting her. Or she goes for sex.

Sex is how Carly got Tony (Brad Maule) away from Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman). Sex is how she tried to keep Jason from Robin (Kimberly McCullough). Sex is how she ended up with Sonny. So, naturally, Carly will use sex to get Nikolas away from Ava. (Don’t worry, it seems like they’re related, but they’re not. Carly is Luke’s niece. Nikolas is Laura’s son. She’s his step-cousin, but they’re not related.)

Supportive Spouse

It may be a little tough to get Sonny on board with this plan. He doesn’t like Carly having any interests outside of him. But if she explains that it will make Ava sad, then Sonny should be all over that. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
