General Hospital’s Sasha Gilmore Corbin has been hiding her drug use from husband Brando Corbin since before they tied the knot. She has good reason. Losing her and Brando’s newborn son, Liam, right around Christmas would have brought anybody to their knees.
General Hospital Polling
The grieving mom turned to pills just to be able to get through the day. We understand her situation. Brando (Johnny Wactor) would probably understand it too. But that doesn’t mean he has to accept it. Brando needs to know what’s going on with his wife. Should Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) be the one to tell him?
Harm To Yourself Or Others
Gladys should tell Brando – for Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) own good, 53% of the audience insists. She needs care, support, and treatment. But first, she needs to admit she has a problem and agree to get help for it. She needs an intervention. And it needs to come from the person who cares for her the most. Sasha has no other family in Port Charles. Heck, she was willing to go along with pretending to be Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter. Mostly it was for money. But it was also for the connection.
The point is, Sasha has always been untethered, and losing her son drove her back to drug use. She’s not going to get any better with Brando in the dark.
General Hospital: My Tale To Tell
Yes to all of the above, 47% of the audience insists, but… and this is a big one… the impetus has to come from Sasha. If Gladys blabs and Brando comes charging in, guns blazing to play hero, Sasha will just withdraw. She’ll deny it. She’ll defend. She’ll blame Gladys for telling, and Brando for listening to his mother over her, and then that will become the focus, rather than Sasha’s recovery. She needs to come clean with her husband and decide to get well on her own.
