General Hospital Strip Tease: Should Lucy End Up In Her Underwear At the Nurse’s Ball?

As sure as the sun rises in the East and Sonny is always right, on General Hospital, Lucy ends up in her underwear at the end of the Nurse’ Ball. Except last year and something just felt off.

Still, she has done it multiple time. We’ve all seen her underwear – and Lynn Herring’s rocking 60(!) year old body – multiple times. Do we really need to see it again? What over 8,000 fans think:

End Of the Road
It’s played out, 51% of you sigh. When you expect it, it’s not a surprise. And when it’s not a surprise, it’s no fun. The Nurses’ Ball has great musical numbers and a chance to see characters acting out of character – Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) practices playing the piano and crooning love songs in his spare time between mustache twirls? Ah-ha….

You don’t want to be sitting around, waiting to see what contrived way the powers that be will come up with this time to get Lucy out of her clothes. You want to enjoy the show!

Besides, she’s barely even on the show anymore. She doesn’t deserve to be the center of attention. And she doesn’t work at the hospital. How about putting Bobbie (Jaclyn Zeman) in charge? Or Liz (Rebecca Herbst)? Or Carly (Laura Wright)? She’s got her finger in every other story. Why not this one, too?

Tradition? Tradition!
It’s a tradition, an almost equal 49% of the audience counters. But enough with the contrived situations. Let’s do it on purpose, this time. Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura (Genie Francis) have divorce papers in hand. What better time than now for Lucy to remind her Doc of what she’s got to offer – and what he’s missing?

And if Kevin isn’t biting, there’s Scott (Kin Shriner). They had a nice moment during the anniversary scavenger hunt. Let’s work on that. While stripping.
