Wendy Williams made a serious statement during the Thursday, April 11 episode of The Wendy Williams Show — and it had something to do with what was missing — not what was there.
In fact, amid rumors her marriage to husband Kevin Hunter is on the rocks, the daytime talk show host filmed the episode without her wedding ring.
Fans quickly noticed the 54-year-old was wearing a floral ring on her left finger instead of her usual giant diamond. She never actually addressed her marriage during the show, but the lack of the ring was enough to make fans question if the relationship is actually over.
“@WendyWilliams is sending us messages over the TV. She’s ONLY wearing her butterfly ring & the I’m sorry watch & NO other jewelry. She’s hatching a plan,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Omg no wedding ring today, you have the flower on this makes me happy, you got this girl,” one fan wrote, while another said, “Is #WendyWilliams wearing her Flower Ring in place of her Diamond today on her SHOW???”

This comes just a couple of weeks after reports surfaced that Hunter allegedly welcomed a child with his mistress. In fact, according to Us Weekly, it’s Hunter who wants a divorce from Williams.
“[Kevin] has wanted to separate so that they would be free to live their own lives. Wendy has begged Kevin to stay with her. It’s been a very long, sad, vicious cycle,” a source explained.
Not to mention, Williams reportedly suffered an alcohol relapse after revealing she’s been living in a sober house.
“Well, for some time now, and even today and beyond, I have been living in a sober house. When you see me come to work glammed up, right after the show I go across the street, I do my Pilates. … You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in my past. I never went to a place to get the treatment.
“I don’t know how, except God was sitting on my shoulder and I just stopped,” she said on her show. Time will tell if this marriage really is over but Entertainment Hub wishes Wendy Williams the best with her recovery.
