Billy Miller may no longer be on General Hospital, but that doesn’t mean he’s forgotten — and it also doesn’t mean he hasn’t maintained his close friendship with former co-star Kelly Monaco.
Sam and Drew still have a legion of dedicated fans out there and they took the spirit of the holiday season to heart, organizing a donation drive for Toys to Tots in Miller and Monaco’s names.
“Thank You @killyfanforever for organizing this generous donation to @toysfortots_usa. Btw, are you watching #billymiller in @truthbetold on@appletv w me?” Monaco tweeted.
Monaco has been a staunch Toys for Tots supporter for years, as have other members of the General Hospital cast. This is also not the first time fans have made donations on the actors’ names.
Miller exited GH earlier this year when his character, Drew, flew off to Afghanistan to return fictional stolen money to the real-life war-torn country. Sadly, his plane went down on the way back thanks to Peter’s (Wes Ramsey’s) machinations. A body was never found, so that could mean Drew still lives. In fact, since this is a soap, it most likely means Drew still lives and will return to Port Charles one day.
Meanwhile, Miller has found work outside soaps and has been appearing on the Apple TV series, Truth Be Told, as Alex Dunn. The series premiered just this month on December 6 so Miller fans can get their fix by streaming him. Monaco remains on GH as Sam, who has been languishing in Pentonville for killing Shiloh with a flare gun. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
