The character of TJ Ashford is going through some tough times these days in Port Charles, but his portrayer Tajh Bellow is experiencing some problems as well, and the General Hospital star is looking to his fanbase for support.
Tajh Bellow Needs Good Thoughts
While the actor usually shares fun and upbeat thoughts on his social media pages, Bellow recently posted a video with a serious message on his Instagram account, with somber news about his mom.
“I’m here to ask for prayer, for positive vibes, for good intentions,” he began in the video. “My mom had an emergency appendectomy last week.”
The surgery was sudden and unexpected and he revealed that she’s been suffering a lot and having terrible medical complications.

“If you guys could just spare a moment and send her love,” Bellow asked. “I know there’s more important things and horrible things going on in the world that people need support for.”
He added the hashtags “keepusinyourprayers” “#goodvibrations” “#healing” and “#pleaseandthankyou” to the post. And he thanks all fans who can take the time and think of his mom today. Many of his fans and supporters have already responded with encouraging comments and love.
TJ’s problems are serious but nothing as life-threatening. The doctor-in-training is dealing with the aftermath of his kidnapping by Cyrus and the resulting betrayal by his love, Molly (Haley Pullos), who thought he was ghosting her while being held captive. That resulted in her hopping into bed with Brando and TJ was not too pleased when he heard the news.
He’s also starting to realize that his mom Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) is not who he once thought, seeing her with clear eyes for the first time and trying to grapple with all the lies she’s committed in her life in the name of protecting him.
Hopefully, things will improve for both Bellow and TJ soon, and we at Soap Hub send good thoughts for Bellow’s mom on her road to recovery. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
