Former General Hospital star Ryan Paevey woke up to a birthday surprise on Thursday and it definitely wasn’t a good one. One of his most prized possessions had been stolen.
Ryan Paevey: Not-So-Nice Gift
Paevey shared the news on social media hoping someone local might spot his nearly-brand-new motorcycle and help him get it back.
“Happy Birthday to me. Someone stole my bike last night…if you’re around LA and see it, drop me a line. The bike stands out….you’d know it if you saw/heard it. Any help is appreciated” Paevey posted on both Instagram and Twitter.
The actor is talking about his 2019 Supercharged Triumph Bonneville Bobber that was stolen from the Hollywood area sometime the night before. He discovered it was missing as a not-so-nice birthday gift.
Paevey remains a much-missed and popular favorite to GH fans and many were thrilled to see him reunite in real life with his former onscreen boss this summer. The actor was in Canada to film a project and met up with Vinessa Antoine, a native Canadian starring in the primetime series, Diggstown.
Since leaving GH, Paevey has appeared in a number of Hallmark movies while also keeping up with his jewelry-making business, Fortunate Wanderer. When he opted to exit Port Charles in 2018, the soap wrote in a tragic death for Nathan after he was shot by his father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
Nathan left a pregnant wife behind and now Maxie (Kirsten Storms) is pregnant again. This time his half-brother, Peter (Wes Ramsey), is the father but Maxie also has no idea that Peter is not the reformed villain he claims to be. (To his credit, he has tried but just can’t get it right.)
As this is a soap, we might learn Nathan never died at all, and perhaps Paevey will return to the soap one day. Meanwhile, if anyone in the L.A. area has seen his motorcycle, he would really appreciate your help. See the Instagram pic below. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
