Parry Shen back on General Hospital as Brad is once again in the story mix on the ABC soap opera. The actor is enjoying reuniting with his GH pals. He recently ran into a former co-star who is also now on an ABC medical drama.
Parry Shen Reunites With Grey’s Anatomy Doctor
“This is a recent text exchange with my good friend @mslynnchen,” Parry Shen writes of actress and pal Lynn Chen. “We last worked together in 2011 and then discovered we were BOTH working on the Prospect Lot at the same time.”
While Shen is busy as Brad serving up (lethal?) food to Peter August (Wes Ramsey), Chen is working as Dr. Michelle Lynn on Grey’s Anatomy as head of plastic surgery. “Words can’t express how awesome it was to see her walking from the Grey’s lot in her scrubs, and me to her from the GH lot and meeting in the middle!”
General Hospital And Grey Sloan Memorial
Despite the two series being shot on the same lot and airing on the same network, there’s never been an official crossover between the two shows. However, Chandra Wilson, who stars as Dr. Miranda Bailey, has popped up on GH as three different characters over the years. She’s played Sydney Val Jean, Dr. Francine Massey, and Tina Estrada. Parry Shen is definitely up for an actual tie-in between the two series. “Now that we know how to find each other’s set, Brad & Michelle need a GH/Grey’s CROSSOVER!”
Until that potential crossover happens, fans of Shen and Chen can check out on Amazon Prime Yes, We’re Open. The film tells the story of Luke (Parry Shen) and Sylvia (Lynn Chen), who consider themselves a modern couple. However, they find themselves questioning certain aspects of their relationship as they figure out what they truly want in life and where they stand on love, sex, and honesty.
