During the 2020 coronavirus quarantine when soap sets were shut down for months, General Hospital star Marcus Coloma took to Instagram to bring us some songs and we learned first-hand of his musical talents.

Well, for the holidays this year, he took things to a whole new level, presenting us with a variety of music videos to get us into the spirit for the season at the end of a very difficult year.
On Thursday, he and one other musician gave us a rousing and smile-inducing rendition of the Hawaiian Christmas song, Mele Kalikimaka, made famous oh-so-many decades ago by the legendary Bing Crosby.
As the days and weeks led up to Christmas Eve, he showed off his piano talents with songs from Beethoven and John Denver.

While we’d love to see Coloma take his musical talents to Port Charles, playing piano and guitar and singing along does not seem very much like Nikolas Cassadine. Of course, it didn’t seem very much like Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) either and we now know he can belt out a tune.
Might we see Nikolas doing the same next year at the Nurses’ Ball? Might he serenade Ava (Maura West)? Will they even still be together by then. At the moment, the pair seems to want a real marriage but each one is always keeping secrets, which can easily get in the way of things. Will he find out every sneaky thing she did for Julian (William deVry) while trying to save her brother’s hide? Time will tell…
