General Hospital Star Kelly Thiebaud Urges People To Just Stay Home

It’s been nearly six weeks since much of the country just suddenly shut down, with officials urging us to stay at home to slow the spread of the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19. While many are going stir crazy in their homes and many want to get back to work, General Hospital star Kelly Thiebaud completely understands but also gets why we are doing this.

Kelly Thiebaud: Taking A Pause

“I miss working. Being on set. Creating. Goofing around with my cast and crew. Meeting cool and talented people. Laughing and telling stories in the makeup trailer,” Thiebaud posted on Instagram.

“Playing make-believe. Having new and challenging experiences. I can’t wait to go back to work. However, that’s going to look after all this has passed. But when it’s safe for us to. Some things just take time and we owe it to each other to give this moment just that, time. Sending you all my love.”

Alongside this message is a series of photos of Thiebaud having that fun on set, as well as a video of her in action. It illustrates what Thiebaud herself is missing during this time of “pause” as New York Governor Andrew Cuomo calls it.

We all have something or someone we are missing, and some of us may need an income right now and perhaps are having trouble reaching state unemployment offices. But we are reminded of the greater good we are doing just staying safe and keeping others safe by staying at home.

Most recently, we got to see a lot of Thiebaud on daytime as she made a return as Britt Westbourne on General Hospital and then appeared as Orpheus’s daughter, Zoey, on Days of Our Lives. And Thiebaud has made it no secret she’d love to return to GH after it’s safe to resume production.
