General Hospital Star Katelyn MacMullen Celebrates Incredible Milestone

The year 2019 has not been particularly kind to poor put upon Willow Tait who is currently sitting in a jail cell. But, actress Katelyn MacMullen has plenty of reason to celebrate.

That’s because she was born on June 27, 1995, in Los Angeles County, California which means that she’s turning 24 years old today! Two of the actress’s biggest fans are her parents who supported their daughter’s dreams of becoming an actress even when it meant she had to drop out of college to head for opportunities in Los Angeles.

The actresses early acting credits include a role on the short-lived television series Sin City Saints and the film The Row. But, there’s more than just acting roles on the young woman’s resume. She was also a writer for the popular video game Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey.

MacMullen has admitted that she had never watched a soap opera before auditioning for the role of General Hospital’s Willow.

However, she had a big asset in her corner in the form of her acting coach Holly Gagnier. Gagnier had played characters on both One Life to Live and General Hospital and MacMullen found her insight invaluable.

Willow was introduced to fans in October of 2018 and MacMullen has been front and center ever since. Fans have loved her courtship with police officer Chase and her friendship with Michael Corinthos.

They also cheer Willow on in her continued quest to bring the vile cult leader Shiloh to justice and they are clamoring for the young woman to finally have some peace.
