General Hospital Star Jon Lindstrom Takes A 2020 Fall Precaution

Jon Lindstrom’s not a doctor, but he plays one on TV. The portrayer of General Hospital’s Dr. Kevin Collins recently got a flu shot and explains how this year, they are more important than ever.

Lindstrom first came to the attention of soap fans when he played Brady on the syndicated soap Rituals. Next, he popped up as Mark McCormick on Santa Barbara. He got to sink his teeth into a dual role in Port Charles; first, he was cast as disturbed Ryan Chamberlin and then came on to GH as his twin Kevin Collins.

Lindstrom was one of three GH actors, along with Lynn Herring (Lucy) and Kin Shriner (Scotty), to headline Port Charles in 1997, a GH spinoff. That show lasted until 2003. Next, Lindstrom took on a job 3000 miles away in New York on As the World Turns as Craig Montgomery. There, he worked alongside Cady McClain (who played Rosanna). In real-life, Lindstrom and McClain wed on February 14, 2014, Valentine’s Day!

After ATWT wrapped, Lindstrom came back to GH. The writers eventually paired him with Genie Francis (Laura) and had him reprise his role as Ryan, who turned out not to be dead after all. You can see Lindstrom’s post below. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check local listings for air times.
