General Hospital Star John J. York Gets Amazing Father’s Day Blessing

John J. York became an instant fan favorite when he debuted as Robert Scorpio’s kid brother, Mac, on General Hospital. Mac stepped up as surrogate date to more than one child in Port Charles, and, now, York is welcoming a new little one into his family!

The actor tweeted on Father’s Day that he has a brand-new grandbaby – Lucille Jane Grand Baby #2! – born to York and wife, Vicki’s, daughter, Schyler.

Almost two years ago, York tweeted out a big welcome to his first grandbaby, a grandson, Elijah Gabriel. Now, Elijah has become a big brother with the arrival of this new little one in the family!

While Mac doesn’t have any children of his own on GH, he has been a surrogate dad to niece Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and Felicia’s (Kristina Wagner) daughters Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and the late Georgie (Lindze Letherman).

In fact, Maxie frequently refers to him as her dad and Mac — newly-crowned PCPD police commissioner — refers to Maxie’s son, James, as his grandson.
