One of “General Hospital’s” most missed stars will reprise his role in late July. Jasper “Jax” Jacks returns to Port Charles–and not a moment to soon for his eager portrayer, Ingo Rademacher!
“It’s about time,” the handsome Australian said of his imminent return to the “General Hospital” (GH) set. “It’s been a long time,” he told Soap Opera Digest.
Although Rademacher admitted he “never has a problem” re-entering life as Jax after being gone for a while, “you kind of question, ‘Can I still do it?’ But I’m really looking forward to it.”
Rademacher teased that he and Sonny (Maurice Benard) may go a few rounds as they always do in their long-standing feud.
“There’s always going to be that rivalry between Jax and Sonny,” the actor noted.
The actor said he’s grateful for the positive response from coworkers and fans about his return to GH.

“Let’s keep that going,” he said in response to Maurice Benard tweeting in jest that Jax is his “favorite candy boy.”
No doubt hefty doses of drama await Jax upon his arrival back in Port Charles. His ex, Carly (Laura Wright) is now married to his nemesis, Sonny. His daughter, Josselyn’s (Eden McCoy) kidney donor mystery has just begun too.
