General Hospital Star Cassandra James Takes on Three New Exciting Roles

As Dr. Terry Randolph on General Hospital, actress Cassandra James doles out her diagnoses with dignity and compassion. Now, the actress is joining forces with a campaign to show the great talent that can be found in her native Canada.

“I am honored to be an ambassador of the incredible #SeekMore campaign by @made_nous…” James, who was born in Pasadena, Calif. but raised in Vancouver, Canada, posted on Instagram. “Coming home to Canada to shoot Diggstown with my fellow Canadian & GH alum Vinessa Antoine (ex-Jordan) was such a beautiful reminder of the vast power and diverse talent that Canada has to offer.”

MADE NOUS is an organization designed to shine a light on the talented and powerful storytellers both in front of and behind the camera in Canada, who are helping shape television, film, and gaming as well as other creative endeavors.

James made her GH debut back in 2018 as Terry, Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) childhood friend. The two had shared a kiss when they were children, but back then James’s character Terry was a boy. She transitioned into becoming a woman and became a doctor.

As a cancer specialist, Terry has been involved with some of GH’s most heartbreaking stories. She was Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) doctor when he became ill. She enrolled him in an experimental program, however, Oscar, ultimately, lost his battle with the disease. Later, she treated Franco (Roger Howarth) after his cancer resurfaced.

Terry’s been seen out of the hospital, too, socializing with Elizabeth and Epiphany (Sonya Eddy). She also attended Elizabeth and Franco’s wedding.

In addition to her role with MADE NOUSE and her guest spot on Diggstown, James can also be seen in the upcoming feature A Christmas Sunset. The film tells the stories of five friends who gather after the death of a sixth mutual pal who linked the quartet together. The discovery of the decedent’s journal causes them all to re-examine their relationships.
