On The Young and the Restless, Faith drove drunk and without a license. She crashed and ended up in the hospital. Now it’s time to get up in front of a judge.

The Young and the Restless Polling

Faith’s parents assure her that everything will be hunky-dory. Because she’s blonde and white and, most importantly, rich. Is the Newman heiress getting off too easily for her crimes? What almost 3,000 viewers think about that:

To Protect And Serve

Almost half of you, 48%, are comfortable with the fine and community service you expect her to get. Nick (Joshua Morrow) will write a check to cover the fine and get Faith (Reylynn Caster) a nice, cushy volunteer gig either at that affordable housing community he is always working on off-screen or, more likely, at the hospital or Nate’s (Sean Dominic) clinic, where she can keep running into that adorable Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines) on a regular basis. That’s a totally fair punishment for possibly killing somebody.

It’s Who You Know

Anyone else would have gotten a much stiffer sentence, 39% of the audience counters. Lily (Christel Khalil) went to prison for accidentally crashing the car, eventually killing Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Daniel was hounded across the country when Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick thought he was responsible for Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) death. Their precious Faith on the other hand… aw, kids make mistakes, cut her some slack!

Life Lessons

A last-place 13% of the fans agree that Faith is getting off easy, but figure she’s learned her lesson. Did you not see her sad puppy dog eyes? Did you not hear her apologizing to her parents and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott)?

How much suffering should a rich girl be subjected to? Admitting she was wrong is much worse than any actual legal penalty. Let’s all agree to let bygones be bygones and move on. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
