Spinelli leads a very complicated life on General Hospital, but all is well in Bradford Anderson’s world — and he a reason to celebrate!
Anderson was born on September 21, 1979 in Meredith, New Hampshire, which means that he’s turning 39 years old today! He graduated from Inter-Lakes High School in his hometown in 1998 and went on to graduate from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Before moving out to Los Angeles, Bradford had a very successful theater career. He performed opposite John Glover (ex-Billy, Search for Tomorrow) and earned a Philly Award for Best Supporting Actor.
He was also nominated for a Barrymore Award in the same category for his performance as Billy in Edward Albee’s The Goat…Or Who Is Sylvia? at Philadelphia Theater Company.
In 2003, Anderson booked his first TV role on the series Ed — as a nerd. But it was his role as Ryan on the cult hit Veronica Mars that first won him a legion of fans. He would find even more once he was cast as Spinelli, nerd genius, on GH in 2006.
He’s appeared on several primetime shows since, including NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, Castle, Minority Report, and a two-episode stint on the critically acclaimed series, Homeland.
On the personal front, Anderson married Kiera O’Neil in 2010 and the couple has two daughters — Juna and Finola (named after co-star Finola Hughes).
