General Hospital spoilers (GH) for Wednesday, May 24 reveal that we could possibly be nearing the end of the great pill-switching mystery. Praise be the hospital gods, let that be true.

You’re not going to want to miss a moment of this heart-pounding episode as the Nurses’ Ball continues…

Secret’s Almost Out
Sonny (Maurice Benard) confides in Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) about everything he has learned about the pills and Morgan (Bryan Craig) so far. When he runs into Ava, he asks her why she’s leaving so fast. She should have left faster since spoilers say she gets the worst of it.

In the meantime, Andre (Anthony Montgomery) is doing his part and checking in with the lab about whether or not they have results on the residue Sonny found. The pieces are coming together and that just spells trouble – for Ava.

Enough is Enough
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) runs into Anna at the Ball. Of course she is full of questions. He rebuffs Anna when that same face asks him for the millionth and one time where the Chimera is.

Will she ever learn – or will he go completely against type and spill his guts to her about its whereabouts?

On the Hunt
Meanwhile Jason has found Alex’s (Finola Hughes) – now Anna’s – Chimera necklace, and it sends his head spinning.

Touchy Subject
Of course, Jake didn’t bring the necklace – but instead the real thing. Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) is put in harm’s way when she tries to touch the Chimera, which he is holding.

Jake (Hudson West) has a meltdown because of course he’s programmed that only he is allowed to know about it and touch it.
