General Hospital spoilers (GH) for August 14-18 promise a week of longing for the past and wondering what the future will bring for your favorite Port Charles pals.
A Life That Was
Ava (Maura West) had a horrible experience her first time “out on the town” after the fire. She seems to stick herself back in that apartment for good, but soon Griffin (Matt Cohen) has a surprise in store.
As Ava wallows in self-pity despite Griffin’s little house call, she wonders what her life would be like with no scars. She falls further into fantasy world as the week goes on, getting lost in her own dreams while the real world continues to go on without her.
A Life That Could Have Been
Poor Finn (Michael Easton) also has a super bad week as it looks like Hayden (Rebecca Budig) may be gone for good.
He gets some comfort from good friend, Curtis (Donnell Turner), while Obrecht’s gloating backfires on her.

Thankfully, Finn gets the help he needs, so maybe he does not fall back into some old and dangerous habits. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) is also blindsided by Hayden’s disappearance, but also blindsided by Franco’s return.
Detective Dante On The Case
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is still not buying whatever Jason (Billy Miller) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) are selling and feels duped by their story.
As Sonny remains preoccupied, Jason decides to take matters into his own hands and Dante does the same as he questions Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Little do they know how Carly’s (Laura Wright) suspicions are growing.
