General Hospital‘s Brook Lynn and Chase were moving full steam ahead with their divorce. But after a contentious meeting with their attorneys and a plane ride to the Dominican Republic, are they having second thoughts?

Key Takeaways

  • Brook Lynn and Chase’s meeting with their attorneys was out of control.
  • They set off to the Dominican Republic for a quickie divorce.
  • They still have feelings for each other.

Brook Lynn And Chase’s Split

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) were once the perfect couple. They fell madly in love, had a storybook wedding, and were all set to live happily ever after. Things were great until Chase decided to defend Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) above all else. This took a toll on their marriage. They adopted Phoebe (Lucia and Luna Creighton) and hoped all would be fine, but it wasn’t. Brook Lynn lied, Chase was unforgiving, and they separated.

Things came to a head when they attempted to mediate with their attorneys. Both Monet (Blythe Howard) and Ric (Rick Hearst) became quite nasty defending their own clients, until Brook Lynn couldn’t take it anymore. She called the whole meeting off, and she and her soon-to-be-ex hopped on a plane to the Dominican Republic for a quickie divorce.

Brook Lynn And Chase In The Dominican

It was obvious from the way the couple sat together on the plane that there was still a lot of love between them. There was also doubt from both as they were about to sign the divorce papers. Maybe their problems are solvable.

They happen to be alone in a romantic tropical locale without all the voices in their ears. No Ric, no Monet, no Willow, no Tracy (Jane Elliot), and no Michael (Rory Gibson). Maybe they can speak freely to each other and say how they really feel. If they decide to try again, they are in the perfect place for a second honeymoon.

Complications will arise if they return to Port Charles still married. This couple needs to focus on each other and their daughter without listening to others, and of course, Chase needs to stay away from his ex-wife.

The perfect solution is to move out of the Quartermaine estate and into a house of their own with their daughter. If they want to stay together, they need to be a family without all of the interference.

Do you think Brook Lynn and Chase will make it?
