General Hospital Poll Speculation: Could Nelle and Willow BOTH Be Nina’s Daughters?

General Hospital has been teasing that Nina’s daughter is still alive since Nina was still a redhead. The original front-runner was Kiki (Hayley Erin). It made sense, Ava (Maura West) seems like the sort who would steal her lover’s wife’s child and raise her as her own, doesn’t she? But Kiki was brutally murdered so there went that dramatic potential.

Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) turned out to be a phony. The next most obvious candidate was Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). She and Nina (then-Michelle Stafford) clashed repeatedly over Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). What better proof of maternity can there be than instant hatred?

But now Nelle (Chloe Lanier) has taken the lead. She and Nina (Cynthia Watros) share that anvil of a necklace. But what if the answer isn’t either/or, but BOTH?

What if Nina gave birth to twins? She was in a coma, she didn’t know any different. And her husband was long gone by then. It was all up to Madeline (Donna Mills). And Madeline did what was best for Madeline. Always.

Madeline was already taking care of her sister, Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati), cast-off, Nathan (Ryan Paevey). She didn’t need two more baby girls crawling around. Making a mess. Growing up to be prettier than her…

So she gave them up. Money likely changed hands. Frank Benson knew from illegal adoptions. He must have thought he could flip little Willow and little Nelle for a tidy profit. Willow went off to live with Lorraine/Harmony, who named her Callie and eventually joined a cult. But did no one want Nelle? Blonde, blue-eyed newborns usually go for a pretty penny. But maybe her evil was too obvious, even then.

Sister Act

Can you imagine these two learning they’re sisters? Twins! Talk about Snow White and Rose Red. This is classic soapiness. Throw in crazy mama Nina, and this trio could blow up Port Charles!
