The General Hospital recaps for September 27 – October 1, 2021, feature a mob moll on the warpath, love in the air, a change of scenery for a prisoner, and so much more.

General Hospital Recaps: Monday, September 27

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) encouraged Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) respectively to stop overthinking matters and make a move; the next time they cross paths, Finn and Liz make a date for trivia night at the local watering hole.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) debate what to tell Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) re: their nearly consummated wedding, and their reignited feelings for one another; Jason suggests they say nothing; both of them wonder if Sonny received proper medical care, and whether or not his manic depression was diagnosed.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) attempted to mitigate her transgressions by claiming that she was attempting to lighten Sonny’s load after years of toiling away as a Mafia Don; Sonny warned Nina that she’d soon have to face the consequences of her actions.

Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) coup against Victor Cassadine (Charles O’Shaughnessy) was brought to a halt by Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) intervention; she is escorted from her cozy quarters to a destination unknown. A physician in Victor’s employ informed him that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) have visited a hospitalized Chloe Jennings (Phoebe Kuhlman)

GH Recaps: Tuesday, September 28

At Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) urging, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) revealed Nina’s complicity in keeping Sonny from his family to Carly…Nina puts in an appearance at Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) abode; Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) allow her time alone with Wiley. When pressed Nina says she’s unsure how long she’ll be sticking around Port Charles.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) expects that Sonny’s survival will quash Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) desire to leave town…Liesl is imprisoned in the same fortress as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and forced to administer to the grievously injured man. She clues him in on the fact that Peter and Victor are responsible for his predicament.

Valentin and Anna imbibe several shots of ouzo; Valentin expresses his feelings for Anna; they kiss; he passes out. Anna entrusts him to a proprietor of the bar; unbeknownst to her, the man and Valentin both bear tattoos featuring the Cassadine family crest.

General Hospital Recaps: Wednesday, September 29

Thanks to Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy), Sonny learned of Jason’s involvement with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud); he opinions that the couple could pick back up where they left off; Jason’s hope for such an outcome are tempered…Carly castigated Nina for her complicity in keeping Sonny from his friends and family. Jason puts himself between the waring pair.

Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), and Josslyn put their plan to out Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) as Ava’s stalker into motion. Phase One: Convince the scheme team that Ava and Nikolas are planning to vacate Port Charles, and resettle in Bora Bora.

GH Recaps: Thursday, September 30

Jason and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) play catch up…Carly takes her pseudo-righteous anger out on an exasperated Jax…Ava asked Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to look after Nikolas for her. After, she heads for Spring Ridge intent on confronting Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom) one last time.

Much to Shawn Butler’s (Sean Blakemore) delight, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) connects Roger Barstow (Brett Chapin) and Naomi Dreyfus (Gigi Bermingham) via Crichton-Clark, and its supposedly deceased director, Victor Cassadine…Esme sowed seeds of contempt between Sonny and Nikolas with a falsehood concerning the latter absconding with the former’s daughter.

General Hospital Recaps: Friday, October 1

Ned confides in Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) his and Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) concern that Leo is autistic; Brook Lynn dismisses the theory out of hand because it originated with Austin; Ned tries and fails to connect with his step-son…With Nikolas poised to take a beating courtesy of Sonny’s goons, Cameron and Trina fess up to their scheme and Spencer cops to being Ava’s stalker.
