The General Hospital recaps for May 17-21, 2021, features Cyrus hoping to hop on the pop of Sasha’s tot, Britt putting one fear to rest, and so much more.
Over lunch at the Metro Court, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) tells Lucy (Lynn Herring) that she’s pregnant. When Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) becomes privy to the information, she erroneously concludes that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) is the father, and offers her congratulations.
Cyrus immediately suspects Brando (Johnny Wactor) of impregnating Sasha, but after being suitably convinced of the contrary, he tasks his driver with uncovering the man’s identity.
When questioned by Brando, Sasha cops to her condition, and to Brando’s status as a papa to be… In an attempt to throw a suspicious Cyrus off track, Sasha fabricates a one-night stand with a nameless stranger.
Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) crossed the border into Canada and found refuge inside a lighthouse. And concluding that they’ll be able to hunker down in the location for the foreseeable future, Jason encourages Britt to see a doctor and pinpoint the cause of her hand tremors.
Subsequent medical tests prove that the involuntary movements are merely stress-related. Though thrilled with the news, Britt then concludes that she should find out whether or not she has the genetic marker for Huntington’s.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), with an assist from Monica (Leslie Charleson), convinces Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) to let him move himself, Charlotte (Scarlet Fernandez), and Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) into the mansion… Michael (Chad Duell) extends a welcomed invitation of room and board to Chase (Josh Swickard), who’s desperate to escape the confines of GH.
Nina (Cynthia Watros) and “Mike” (Maurice Benard) manage to uncover some incredibly damning evidence against Elijah (Dan White). But while chasing down further leads in nearby Corinth, the villain in question is alerted to fact that something is amiss.
After updating her Last Will & Testament, Carly (Laura Wright) invites Gladys over for a serious conversation. She first attempts to appeal to her in-law’s mercenary side, and when that fails, Carly reveals that Gladys has endangered her son…the actual father of Sasha’s baby.
Though they manage to dissuade Dr. Navarro (Christina Ferraro) from inducing labor, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) each realize that they have to solidify their respective schemes. So, while he plots with faux Nurse Chloe (Kimberly J. Brown), she confers with Brook Lynn and convinces Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) to assist in the delivery.
Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) revealed to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that he’s about to purchase Pentonville, but his joy at one-upping his uncle is tempered by the news that Shawn (Sean Blakemore) plans to participate in his upcoming parole hearing.
Anna (Finola Hughes) learns that Sean Donely (John Reilly) has died. His subsequent wake doubles as a final training exercise for daughter Annie (Caitlin Reilly), who’s welcomed into the WSB by Anna, Robert (Tristan Rogers), and a plethora of Sean’s Port Charles based friends. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
