General Hospital Recaps: Monday, January 10
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) tells Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) passing. They commiserate over the news. Sonny confides his marital upset. Afterward, word reaches Sonny that he’s out of refills for his lithium. He forgoes scheduling an appointment with his doctor.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) encourages Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to reconcile with his father; Spencer is dubious. Laura is perturbed to find Victor awaiting her return home.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) catch up. The latter reveals that she sometimes feels like a third wheel when it comes to Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)…Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) hold off on their date night until Liz can ascertain whether or not her sons are fine with her moving on from Franco.
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) cautions Marshall (Robert Gossett) that his failure to be open and honest with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will result in permanent estrangement.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) confronts Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros); she’s shocked to learn that Nina and Sonny spent time together on New Year’s Eve and that Nina halted a sexually charged encounter between herself and Sonny while the two were together in Nixon Falls. When Nina pointedly confesses she won’t be turning Sonny away for a second time, Carly strikes her, then warns her against further interference.
GH Recaps: Tuesday, January 11
Marshall explains to Curtis that circumstances necessitated the faking of his death, but he refuses to go into minute details. Curtis is far from satisfied…Laura doubts Victor’s claim that he’s a changed man – and his solicitude in regard to Luke.
Sonny attempts to bridge the gap between him and Carly, but she demands that he vacate the premises; should he refuse to do so, Carly declares that she’ll be the one to move out…Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) suggests that Nina wave her rights to Wiley as a show of good faith.
Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) attempts to find a date is a bust. She’s delighted to learn that he’s developed a crush on Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Opposite this, Maxie explains to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) that Austin is someone she’s come to rely on a great deal.
General Hospital Recaps: Wednesday, January 12
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) attempts to mediate between Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Harmony (Inga Cadranel), but Sam isn’t prepared to offer her mother’s new confidant the benefit of the doubt…The D.A.’s office decides not to pursue a case against Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) – but only because Alexis withdrew her cooperation.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) begs off helping Nina go up against the Corinthos family…Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) attempts to make peace with Austin, but he rejects her overtures. Austin then contemplates joining forces with Valentin in order to exact revenge on her.
Carly makes plans to move out of the Corinthos compound. She tells a distraught Sonny that there’s no hope for them unless he manages to extinguish the love he feels for Nina.
GH Recaps: Thursday, January 13
Brook Lynn upsets Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) with the revelation that Tracy has figured out their secret. They decide to bid Monica’s abode adieu, and move into a home of their own…Sam explains to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) her reasons for turning over his ELQ shares over to Valentin.
Anna suggests that she, Felicia, Austin, and Maxie return to the sight of Louise’s birth in the hopes that the surroundings will trigger previously hidden memories…Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) drops a truth bomb on Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud): he’s the one who delivered the poisoned breakfast to Peter August (Wes Ramsey)…Thanks to a well-intentioned Austin, Victor realizes that the best way to strike out against Brook Lynn is through Maxie.
General Hospital Recaps: Friday, January 14
Laura’s efforts to engineer a rapprochement between Spencer and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) are for naught…Carly bends Drew’s ear, then apologizes for her shoddy treatment of him in the past…Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) cautions Nina against exerting her right to see Wiley but feeds into her fantasy of a life with Sonny.
After a disconcerting convo with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) bars her from visiting with Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom)…Britt promises to help Brad get out from under Selena Wu’s (Lydia Look) thumb.
