The General Hospital recaps for November 22 – November 26, 2021, feature the threat of death, several exits, a shocking return, and so much more.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) doubled down on his claim of Bailey Louise, leaving Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) distraught, and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) flummoxed. Chase later admitted to deducing that Bailey and Louise are one and the same.
Baby Boy Brando is rushed to the NICU; Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) begins to hemorrhage, resulting in further surgery…Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) keeps Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) company; they both worry about Sasha; talk turns to the time they spent in Nixon Falls.
Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher) makes a point of telling Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that he’s returning to Australia and that he has no plans to return…On Cassadine Island, Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) attempt to escape is stymied by the arrival of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). He uses his one phone call to torment Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) with promises of a swift reunion…The search for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is initiated.
Maxie was not pleased to hear of the compounded lie concerning “Bailey’s” paternity…Anna is informed that no survivors have been found during a scan of the collapsed tunnel…Anna and Valentin both assure Maxie that Peter will be no threat to her.
At Brando and Sasha’s urging, Dr. Navarro reveals two worst-case scenarios – their son will have life-long brain damage, or he’ll never be weaned off the ventilator keeping him alive; General Hospital recaps find an eavesdropping Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is gutted by what she hears; Sonny and Carly offer her their support.
Chase and Brook Lynn “confess” to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), respectively, that Chase is Bailey’s father…Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) tells Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) that the man stalking him is actually his presumed dead father. Opposite this, Marshall (Robert Gossett) attempts to make inroads with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).
Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) begs Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) forgiveness, then extends an olive branch in the form of an invitation to Thanksgiving dinner – he rejects both, though he’s heartened to hear that she’s booked Leo in to see a specialist.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) celebrate the holiday together. Their revelry is brought to a screeching halt by Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) unheralded arrival.
