Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) phones Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and tells him that Bailey has been kidnapped by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) relays the same news to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). This prompts Maxie to admit to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wanger) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) that Bailey and Lousie are one and the same.
Peter phones Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and requests safe passage out of Port Charles in exchange for what he knows about Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) conditioning…Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) holds Chase responsible for Bailey’s kidnapping. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dante arrive at the beach house to assist in the hunt for Bailey. Maxie arrives and stuns the assemblage with the truth.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) grouses to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has rejected his gesture, rejected him personally, and turned her back on their marriage. He and Nina retire to a stateroom. Carly catches the two in flagrante.
Hedging his bets, Peter takes Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) hostage. He delights in revealing this to Victor…Mac Scorpio (John J. York) regains consciousness; Felicia, Robert, and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) are thrilled…Ned praises Brook Lynn for her shielding of Louise…Drew encourages Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to live her life with Dante…Carly castigates Sonny for his infidelity
Carly confides her troubles in Drew. There’s a near kiss, but she pulls away…Nina confesses her knowledge of Brook Lynn and Maxie’s duplicity. Sonny’s impressed that Nina had been playing Peter…Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is found in the alley behind Beradino’s. At first blush, he’s on a bender. Blood tests prove that he’s been drugged.
Victor acquiesces to Peter’s demands. His reward is Charlotte’s location…Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) admits that he may be inadvertently responsible for Victor’s deducing that Bailey was really Louise…Peter summons Maxie to Pier 55 and issues an ultimatum: say goodbye to her daughter forever or go on the join them for a life on the run…Dante and Sam exchange, “I love yous.”
Maxie sweet talks Peter into leaving Louise behind. They drop her off at fire station…Brook Lynn and Chase get Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) up to speed…Anna, Valentin, and Laura all question how Victor knew Charlotte’s whereabouts. He deflects and dodges. Laura threatens to bring him to justice…Austin suspects that Peter and Maxie have boarded a barge, but the duo have taken to the highway.
Liz is flummoxed to find that the dress she wed Franco in – and had planned to donate to charity – has been shredded…Carly makes an appointment with a divorce lawyer. Sam counsels her. Sonny vents to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy)…Nina tells Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) about her rendezvous with Sonny…Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) awaits her blind date at Charlie’s. It’s Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten)!
