The General Hospital recap for Friday, February 7, 2020, features schemes galore, a job reclaimed, and a relationship strengthened.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

After being rejected by Nina (Cynthia Watros) yet again, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) settled in for a meeting with Martin (Michael E. Knight). During its course, Valentin agreed that he would submit to the DNA test that Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) is pushing for and wondered about the progress of his “impending acquisitions.”

Meanwhile, negotiations between Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Michael (Chad Duell) came to a standstill and a meeting between Ned (Wally Kurth), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Lin concerning the latter’s stranglehold contract ended with threats both implied and implicit.

Which was good news all around for Valentin, because Nelle is ready to entertain bids for her ELQ shares and Linc – who is serving at the villain’s behest – is sure that he can convince Brook Lynn to pay him whatever amount is necessary to free herself – which they can then use to acquire those all-important shares.

Best Laid Plans

In need of company following her run-in with Valentin, Nina swung by the Jerome Gallery and learned about the conditions of Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas’s postnuptial agreement. Though she questioned the pair’s ability to remain both celibate and faithful, Nina was assured by her new bestie that Nikolas would soon succumb to his lust!

Is Lulu Holding Out For A Hero?

Despite fearing she hasn’t the constitution to be with “another hero,” Lulu (Emme Rylan) received some words of wisdom from Laura (Genie Francis) that encouraged her not to halt her relationship with Dustin (Mark Lawson).

Decision Made

Brad (Parry Shen) and Julian (William de Vry) were able to convince Lucas (Ryan Carnes) that whatever Brad might have said/been about to say before the accident was inconsequential.

But just when Brad began to breathe a sigh of relief, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) arrived. After a private chat with Lucas, she managed to reclaim her one day-and-done job of being Wiley’s nanny – a proposition that doesn’t bode well for “fragile” Brad.

Will Laura Have A Change of Address?

During a mother/son chat, Nikolas told Laura she and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) would be moving into Wyndemere so he could protect her. Laura scoffed at the idea, especially considering Ava’s presence, but Nikolas demurred that he wouldn’t always be married to her…General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
