General Hospital Recap: Valentin’s Fondest Wish Is A Very Dead Peter

The General Hospital recap for Thursday, July 29, 2021, features Valentin Cassadine and Anna Devane speculating about Peter August’s fate, Spencer Cassadine continuing to make waves, the walls closing in on his father, and Brook Lynn setting herself up for a real letdown.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is the kind of man who speaks as he finds, and he finds Peter (Wes Ramsey) to be an utter waste of space – hence his declaration to Anna (Finola Hughes) that if Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) didn’t finish the villain off for good, he’d be all too happy to do so.

GH Recap: Like Father Like Son

Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) continued to irk – and intrigue – Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). Her good friends Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) did their best to prepare her for an inevitable letdown, but Trina failed to fully grasp just exactly how awful Spencer could be.

Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), on the other hand, has the young man’s number. This probably explains why she didn’t jump at the chance to accept the olive branch Spencer extended.

Meanwhile, Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) fear that he’d be outed as the man who ordered the hit on Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) intensified when he learned that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was on the case. Luckily for him, when interviewed by the raven-haired P.I., his ex-lover, Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), refused to give him away (and yes, we know Sam already knows the truth about Hayden’s shooting but we’re just going with what the show’s currently giving us).

General Hospital Recap: Mama Drama

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) may not be Louise’s mother, but she’s starting to fall under the little girl’s sway – which doesn’t bode at all well for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
