The General Hospital recap for Friday, January 3 features two uninvited guests interrupting the Cassadine nuptials and bad news all around for Brook Lynn and Sam.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Despite considering Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) last-minute plea to ditch her plan for revenge and simply walk away, Nina (Cynthia Watros) decided to soldier on. Upon reaching the end of the aisle, she gave Valentin one last opportunity to come clean about the secret he is keeping.
When her erstwhile groom didn’t bite, she readied herself to shout ‘No’ when asked whether or not she was prepared to wed. However, her thunder was summarily stolen when Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) literally kicked in the doors leading to the foyer and entered the room, cradling a sea-soaked Ava (Maura West) in his arms.
An All-Around Mess
At Ned’s (Wally Kurth) request, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) joined him and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) at the Metro Court and set her eyes on Brook Lynn’s record contract.
After a brief perusal, Diane told the two that the document was iron clan and Brook Lynn’s only options were to like it or lump it… or maybe Ned could use his influence as a Quartermaine to buy out the remainder of the contract.
After Diane beat a hasty retreat to answer Jason’s (Steve Burton) call, Ned told Brook Lynn that there was no way he was going to pay off her manager. That’s when Brook Lynn dropped a bombshell — well, actually, what she did was specify something that she intimated weeks earlier. “He hit on me!”
They’re All Out To Get You, Jason And Sam
Diane arrived at Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) apartment to find her in a state of near panic. Quickly apprised of the situation — as an alleged hitman, Jason is no longer allowed to associate with Sam — Diane had about as much helpful news for the couple as she did for Brook Lynn.
What she did do was offer them three pieces of sound advice: don’t try and circumvent the law by surreptitiously reuniting, treat the parole officer with the utmost consideration, and ask Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to look into the woman’s background. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
